Biltmore Communities around Asheville NC #MountainCommunity

Biltmore Communities - Biltmore Park, Biltmore Forest, Biltmore Lake, Biltmore Ramble

Thanks for inquiring about the Biltmore Communities. You can see all the homes for sale updated every few seconds:

Biltmore Park is a new Town Center, built as a multi-use site along the lines of other ‘New Towns’ in the USA that have sprung up over the last 20 years. It is 15 -20 'highway minutes' South from Downtown Asheville.

Chain Restaurants, Cafe’s and boutiques line the main street, which also boasts a Hilton hotel and large, impressive movie cinema. Condos are available on the main street, and single family homes throughout the development.

This is not a rustic or ‘mountain’ development that you can often find in Asheville.  To some, it may feel like many towns that can be found across the country. However, it does offer all the modern conveniences you could wish for, as well as close proximity to Asheville and Hendersonville, as well as the airport.

Biltmore Ramble (New community)

  • Gated community adjacent to Biltmore Forest and French Broad River

  • 10-15 minutes from downtown Asheville

  • Land was originally acquired for Biltmore Estate and features scenic vistas of Ducker Mountain and surrounding mountains in places, although many homes do not have views.

  • This is a community that has upscale homes on (generally) smaller lots. One of the 'places to live' in the Asheville area.

Biltmore Lake (Newer community)

This community is 15 - 20 minutes West of Asheville adjacent to Candler, NC. It also offers closer proximity to Waynesville.

  • 62-acre lake development with three planned communities:

  • Lake Village features residential homes around the lake with campgrounds, swimming, playgrounds and recreational summer programs for children

  • Scott Ridge is at 3035 feet and is a gated neighborhood with views of the lake, downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate and Pisgah National Forest

  • Cedar Rock is a community of town homes with modern, spacious designs and maintenance- free living

  • Biltmore Lake is non-motorized

The Town of Biltmore Forest is 5 minutes south of Asheville NC. It was incorporated in 1923 and is a planned residential community, and was determined as a historic district in 1990. The Town was planned by the best professional planners of their day. Mr. C.D. Beadle who had been associated with the firm of Frederick Law Olmsted of Boston, planned the protection, preservation, and perfection of the natural beauty of the area that is now known as Biltmore Forest. Mr. Frederick Law Olmsted, the Father of Landscape Architecture, planned his landscape to preserve the beauty of the natural environment and attempted to create a rural atmosphere although his designs were often located in cities. He was involved in the design of New York's Central Park, the U.S. Capitol grounds in Washington, and the grounds of the Biltmore Estate.
